PostHeaderIcon It's been a long time

It's been a long time since I posted anything here.. Guess that was mainly due to my final exams during mid April. Then I went for a trip with my grandfather (gong gong) and aunty (yi yi) to Shan Tou, China. Well, I wasnt there for fun, but to take care of my gong gong and yiyi. I had fun when playing with my little niece and her cousins. Although I was walking alone in 'Li Dao', the highlight of the trip was playing in the bubble thing. Had lots of seafood during my trip till I had a stomach upset...

This week has it's up and downs for me. Nevertheless, I hope that this is the trials that God has to mould me to become the child he wants me to be..

By the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. Against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23

Last Wednesday was the last CF meeting for this semester. I had a great time, although it wasnt smthg I really anticipated. I just felt that I've just got to know them and now.... it's just a lil too fast for me to absorp everything.. It's ok, God has a plan for me and I just want to surrender all into His hands..

Breakfast cooked and prepared by Timothy & Linda
and totally made my day=)

Btw, Timothy and I came over to Linda's place last night and we had a good time catching up with each other.

Had a wonderful Mexican dinner at Uncle Rodney's place last night with Eric, Dosie, Nathan and Brendan. The chocolate cake was simply delicious=)

After dinner and on the way to Linda's place, I got this text msg:

C: Where u going so late?

Me: I thought I told you I was going to Linda's place.

C: U going with who? Sorry....

Me: Timothy

C: Who Timothy?

Me: My NS friend.

C: Y u out with him?

Me: Cause we're going to Linda's place. Spending the night over there (Timothy at
Richard's place)

C: eeee, Y he join also...

Me: cause we have other friends too. There's a drunk guy in the train now.

C: Y is a drunk guy next to u? With u guys issit?

Me: Near me... In d train.. A lil scared but Timothy's with me.

C: Ok... Take care ya? Timothy is good or not?? *was laughing already*

Me: Haha.. I just showed him the msges u sent.. Yea, I trust him...

C: Aih.. Y u show....

Besides C, my mummy called a number of times. Not good to travel late, but good to let someone know where you are and go with a friend=)
*dont you think I seem to have 2 mummies now??? lols*

It was Good Friday yesterday..
Hope it was a time where we reflected on God's love and graciousness to send His son that His blood bring salvation and life to us, sinners of this world....

PostHeaderIcon Footprints...

Today's the 19th of March. This means my final exams are approaching and the semester is coming to an end... This semester seemed to pass and go by so quickly, real fast!

At times, I would wonder whether will people remember me in future? How would they remember me? Have I left footprints in their lives? At this age, people come and go in our lives, but have I done my part in sharing about the Word? Have I shown a reflection of Christ within me? Have I been a friend to someone who's in need? I know I have failed many times, I may not have noticed or been sensitive to those around me, especially when I'm busy and occupied with something else, and I realized that I am easily annoyed this semester...

Nevertheless, despite all my weaknesses, I know God has made me special and unique in his sight, for I am his creation. I thank God for leaving footprints in my life and for my family and friends. I have learnt to cast all my cares at His feet, for I know He has plans for me and my future is in His hands. Doing so, I have peace within me and less worries =)

Two friends called me out of the blues last night. When I received the second call, I felt touched and happy(yes, I feel happy easily), thinking 'Wow, not bad, my friends occasionally still thinks of me'. Earlier in the evening, Christina asked Sherene and I a question today, "Do you think money will buy happiness?" Happiness, maybe, but how long would that last? Joy, definitely no! It's something like a simple phone call, be it a long distance or local call that brings joy and brightens my day (:

May God put a smile in your heart and fill it with love and joy today!!!!

PostHeaderIcon Realizations

I had to fill an application form this week and it made me realized how blessed I am. I had my daddy to help me with my application on which he gathered much information for me, I thank God for my scholarship which adds as a big bonus, and Shi for sharing and telling me the main points I should focus in my application.

I believe everything will turn out fine, I am sure that God will provide for me=)

I want to post a lot of pics, but the hostel internet wouldnt let me do so... Well, just have to wait till I go home in May....

PostHeaderIcon My last week of being 19

My last week of being 19...
Dont really like the idea of my age starting with 2...

I went to the National Leprosy Centre last Saturday at Sungai Buloh and it was a new experience for me. Those who are in the serious stage of leprosy will slowly lose their sense of touch and their nerves will not function. Their fingers will shrink, and eventually, disappear....

Bo Eing wanted to give me a surprise on Tuesday night but I found out eventually, not fun at all!!! But it's the thought that counts, the company and the quality time=)

I did a silly mistake on Wednesday night. I made arrangements with 2 speakers for CF meeting... Gosh, felt so terrible about my carelessness.... MaLU!!!

I wanted to donate blood yesterday but my blood pressure was a lil low, so couldnt... A little bit disappointed

During CG today, everyone shared about their week. I realize how blessed I am with all that I have. I'm so thankful for everything God has blessed and given me.
Going for CF Camp in an hour, hope everything goes fine and the weather is good too.. I really hope this would be a good time of bonding and fellowship=)

Take care friends;)

I received a Vietnam red packet on Tuesday, wanna post the Vietnam dong up but my internet connection doesnt allow me to do so.....

Inside the red packet was 1000 dong = RM0.20. Well, it's the thought that counts=)Cha Ling and I had one red packet each from Kim Cuong... In Vietnam, those above 20 are eligible to give red packets, and their new year falls on the same day as Chinese New Year.

PostHeaderIcon ............

It's been a long time since I last blogged. In a week's time, I'll be home for CNY hols=)

The first week wasnt good for me, due to the soft, old mattress but thankfully they changed it within a week. Felt a bit different during the first week but I've got back to my momentum now.

Managed to visit Linda at her place during the first weekend and I met Shu Ai and Seng Mong at Cheras Baptist Church on the following sunday with Shing and Adrienne.
It really was a sweet surprise to meet Shu Ai at church as Shing planned to meet her later in the evening that day.

I've been out a bit, went to Seremban with my roommate, Jia Li and her classmate, Xin Rong last Wednesday. Bought a watch and a T-shirt which I fell in love with at first sight. It's really cute and I'll post the pic when my internet connection allows me to do so.

I've not studied much yet, dont know why this happens...Happened last January too.... But i'll finish 2 assignments before CNY=) Been playing badminton with Bo Eing and other friends, and captain ball with CF friends. Been exercising but have been eating a lot too... All Bo Eing's fault.....hahaha...

After chatting with Sarah tonight, I am more excited to go home. Really cant wait;)

Happy Chinese New Year!!!!

PostHeaderIcon Happy New Year ppl!!!

It's a new year now, another year has passed....how fast time flies.........

I'm back in Nilai now.

I'm so thankful of God's blessings and providence today=) First of all, my flight wasnt delayed today. Connie and Aveline's original flight at 0920 from Kuching to KL was delayed to 1215 and my flight took off on time.
Then God gave me a friend, Zhi Yuan to fly with me today. He helped me with my luggage and I'm glad to have some time to catch up with him again.
I also met Shirley, my primary school classmate on the plane and I saw Bryan, Esmond's friend at the terminal too. Both of them are studying at UKM.
When I was in the bus, Eric msged me to ask whether have I arrived? Well, Eric and Alvin helped me to carry my luggage up to the 1st floor at my block=)
Edmond sent me off today but 3 person didnt turn up....how disappointing....I was a bit la....

I've not unpacked yet because the Health Ministry are fogging all the block this evening. I'm not sure whether are they done because I'm blogging from Bo Eing's room now, another blessing cause there's air-con here....hehehe..

Classes start tmr....not as eager I thought I would be.....

About Me

I believe God has plans for everyone of us and everything happens for a purpose=) I think being positive makes a big difference in life!
